This week has certainly been a whirlwind of medical appointments. I needed to attend several appointments, some at a considerable distance from where I currently live.
On Monday, I met with a physician’s assistant at my primary care physician’s office. I completed bloodwork, plus had a couple of my prescriptions changed.
On Wednesday, I received an in-office steroid injection from my ENT. Hopefully, this will extend the period of time before I require another dilatation surgery.
Today, I had a brain MRI with gadolinium contrast. I was surprised that my neurologist didn’t also order an MRI of my spinal cord, for whatever reason.
Managing multiple chronic conditions takes so much time and energy to do effectively. It’s essential to have a competent primary care physician to oversee these concerns.
