This Sunday morning, I’m growing increasingly concerned about the possibility of having contracted COVID-19.
Nine days ago, I received a COVID-19 test at one of the nursing homes where I provide psychological services. A few days ago, the facility’s director of nursing informed me that my test results were indeterminate. Therefore, I wasn’t allowed to see residents at this facility this past week.
Five days ago, I had another COVID-19 test at the other nursing home where I provide services. I haven’t yet received my test results. I hope to find out my results very soon.
I’ve been feeling unusually exhausted the past few days. I woke up with a sore throat this morning, too. In addition, I’ve experienced a marathon session of throat clearing this morning.
I’ll be sure to let you know whatever may unfold over the next few days. This is certainly very anxiety-provoking, given my pre-existing medical conditions.
