Importance of Multi-Disciplinary Treatment

It’s essential to obtain multi-disciplinary treatment when you have multiple chronic conditions to manage. Having a competent primary care physician to integrate all of your care is critically important, too.

I’ve just messaged my neurologist, about my recent bladder sling surgery results. I’m interested in knowing if she thinks that this type of surgery is relatively less effective for someone who has MS. Perhaps she’ll suggest that I re-initiate medication for urinary urgency and frequency, such as oxybutynin.

Two years ago, I contacted my ENT, regarding the pros and cons of initiating hormone replacement therapy (HRT). He stated that this treatment option was contraindicated, due to my idiopathic subglottic stenosis. At that time, I was having profuse hot flashes, multiple times per day.
