Each week, I receive COVID-19 testing at both of the nursing homes where I provide psychological services. Thankfully, my test results to date have all been negative.
I recently received antibody testing for COVID-19, too. My test result was negative. However, I question the accuracy of my results, given my multiple autoimmune disorders.
Tomorrow, I need to receive yet another COVID-19 test. This is mandatory, and must be completed 72 hours before my upcoming hysterectomy.
I feel deeply blessed that I have not contracted COVID-19. It would be disastrous with my pre-existing medical conditions. I’ve been very deeply blessed that none of the residents have tested positive for COVID-19, in either of the nursing homes that I visit each week.
