Medically Cleared for Surgery

This afternoon, I saw my ENT. He performed a limited scope of my airway, as opposed to performing a full bronchoscopy. He shared that I’m currently approximately 30% occluded.

My gynecologist was insistent that I needed to have an updated status of my subglottic stenosis prior to receiving my hysterectomy and bladder sling surgeries My ENT will contact my gynecologist about specific recommendations for airway management during my upcoming surgeries.

Thankfully, it’s now been fourteen months since my last dilatation surgery. Previously, I had been needing dilatation surgeries every six months.
