Prioritizing Self-Care

We all seem to lead such busy, hectic lives. As a result, we can neglect taking the best possible care of ourselves.

This appears to be especially true for women, since we frequently serve as caregivers for others. Today, I’ve been aware of how much I have recently failed to take the best possible care of myself.

This coming week, I need to complete laboratory testing that was ordered by my neurologist. This is important to determine how I’ve been affected by Vumerity, prescribed for the management of relapsing-remitting MS.

I also need to reschedule appointments with a couple of my specialists. These appointments were cancelled around the period of time that my mother was actively dying.

I need to reschedule a follow-up appointment with my neurologist, as well as an appointment with my speech therapist. I assume that both of these will be virtual visits.
