Entering Grades

Yesterday, I spent time calculating final grades for my Advanced Placement high school students’ General Psychology class. I’ll need to convert their numerical grades to letter ones.

I gave my students additional time to complete the requirements for this course. I know that this semester had been especially challenging for them, given the COVID-19 pandemic.

I really miss teaching in the classroom. I miss the direct interaction with my students. I miss responding to their questions, as well as reacting to their comments.

I’m not sure if I’ll have the opportunity to teach this fall semester. Since enrollment is significantly down at the community college where I was teaching, there might not be another opportunity.

Three weeks from today, I’ll be having a laparoscopic hysterectomy, plus bladder sling surgery. I need to obtain medical clearance from my ENT, prior to having this surgery.

Thankfully, I have a pre-existing appointment with him on July 1. I need to have an in-office bronchoscopy, to determine my current degree of airway occlusion.
