That Time of Year Again

Today is June 9. It’s a very hot, humid day today. A lot of people look forward to the start of summer. I’m certainly not one of them.

I have very heat-sensitive relapsing-remitting MS. All of my symptoms worsen when the temperature rises. Having to run errands today, my legs started to feel completely numb within a very short period of time.

Like so many other people, I’m really tired of wearing a mask. It’s even harder to do in the oppressive heat. It’s especially difficult when you have a subglottic stenosis that is worsening.

I just needed to vent today. It could always be worse, of course.
