Stress-Sensitive Symptoms

MS symptoms are notoriously stress-sensitive. I received some extremely upsetting news over this past weekend. Today, I have no feeling in both of my legs.

I don’t think that I am having a true MS exacerbation per se, but my body is definitely reacting to feeling so very troubled for a family member.

I’m also noticing that my subglottic stenosis is worsening. Unfortunately, the symptoms of autoimmune disorders are extremely stress-sensitive.

I’m thinking about scheduling another throat dilatation surgery with my local ENT, as opposed to arranging for this same surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. I still have several weeks left for teaching this semester.
