Sick when Chronically Ill

Unfortunately, I’ve recently managed to catch something. I feel really miserable. Thankfully, it’s been a long time since I felt this way.

Of course, none of us likes to feel sick. When you’re living with chronic illness, it’s an additional set of challenges.

Pre-existing illnesses are likely to flare when you develop a cold, the flu, or some type of infection. When I run a fever, for example, my MS symptoms will temporarily worsen.

Hopefully, this will not last very long. I’m also concerned about how being sick exacerbates my subglottic stenosis, which is in the process of slowly worsening.
