In reviewing my Power Point slides for the Abnormal Psychology class that I teach three mornings per week, I inadvertently wrote over some of the slides. I had originally been scheduled to discuss Schizophrenia, but I decided to talk about Personality Disorders instead.
I’m very thankful that this material is familiar enough for me to have made this last-minute type of switch. I’ve taught this same course before, plus have had considerable clinical experience in working with clients diagnosed with personality disorders.
I had several errands to run yesterday. I was so grateful that I wasn’t experiencing any shortness of breath, nor difficulty with walking. For the first time, it appears that I will be able to finish this semester without needing to have yet another throat dilatation surgery.
Good health is priceless. Please never take yours for granted.
