This morning, I had a follow-up appointment with my gynecologist. This was for the July 1 surgery that I had, for removal of endometrial polyps.
I was very relieved to hear my gynecologist inform me that only one polyp had been removed. Thankfully, it was benign.
My specialist said that removal of this polyp should help decrease my menorrhagia. He also stated that there are advantages to entering menopause at a relatively later age. One of these benefits is improved bone density.
At this point, I don’t need to schedule any additional appointments with my gynecologist.
