For the past several days, I’ve been playing phone tag with a support nurse, from the One to One organization. One to One offers support for individuals who are taking Aubagio, a medication for relapsing-remitting MS.
My Aubagio arrived yesterday. I’ve not yet taken it. I have multiple reservations about starting this medication.
I know that I need to take a medication for the management of my relapsing-remitting MS. Not doing so increases my risk of experiencing relapses, and increased disability.
However, this medication is associated with significant risks, including altered liver enzymes. More superficially, I don’t want my hair to thin. I previously went through this before, when taking methotrexate.
