I’ve been experiencing debilitating fatigue. This level of deep exhaustion is seriously disrupting all of my activities, both things that I need to do, as well as want to complete.
Consequently, I recently started to research the maximum possible dosage of Amantadine, the antiviral medication that I have been prescribed for MS fatigue. I currently take 100 mg. bid.
I’ve read that a dosage of 400 mg. bid is considered acceptable. As a result, I’m going to ask my neurologist if she thinks that it’s acceptable to increase my dosage.
I remember feeling absolutely ecstatic when I first started to take Amantadine, since it was effective in alleviating my crushing fatigue. Recently, I’ve been getting increasingly depressed about the consequences of my severe fatigue.
