Breathing Freely

I’ve had my last throat dilatation surgery approximately five weeks ago. At this point, I’m not counting how many steps that I have to take to walk to any given destination.

I’m not gasping for air, after simply getting dressed in the morning. You honestly don’t recognize how priceless this truly is, until it’s cruelly taken away from you.

I’m breathing freely, which is absolutely wonderful. How I wish that my current status would last, indefinitely. I really don’t want to have additional throat surgeries.

For now, I’m perfectly okay. I’ll choose to just enjoy breathing freely, no matter how long it may last.
