I recently took a road trip, to the Cleveland Clinic. In doing so, I found it necessary to periodically stop at an interstate rest area.
As is often the case, I noticed a long line for the ladies’ restroom. I debated whether or not to use the only stall that was allocated for individuals with disabilities.
After all, I have every right to utilize such a stall. Having MS has definitely created urinary urgency.
However, I decided to simply wait in line with all of the other women. I knew that my external appearance would most likely be perceived as that of someone who, in fact, doesn’t have any form of disability.
