Today, after I finished teaching my General Psychology class, I happened to overhear a conversation that a couple of students were having. They were discussing the topic of running.
They happened to be talking about how difficult it is to get back into running, after you’ve stopped doing it on a regular basis. Previously, I was a runner. I’d love to be able to run again one day.
Today, however, I was simply happy to be able to just walk, not run. After all, I delivered a lecture for two hours this afternoon, so I was feeling very short of breath as I walked back to my car.
In just five days, I’ll have another throat dilatation surgery. Two days after, I’ll be giving these same students their third examination.
