You’re much stronger than you know. Even at what appears to be your very lowest point, there’s always something for which to be grateful. Often, there are so very many things for which to be grateful.
It’s all about perspective, about choosing to focus on your blessings, rather than your burdens. I write these words in the midst of a storm, not after it has already passed.
That’s been my ultimate silver lining of having developed devastating medical problems. I know that I retain the right to focus on what remains, rather than what has been lost.
You are resilient, amazing, and strong. There’s a new and improved version of you, just waiting to unfold.
