One Step Forward, One Step Back

When you juggle the management of multiple chronic illnesses, your life can definitely feel like one step forward, one step back. Less than a month ago, I saw my neurologist. We discussed treatment options for my MS fatigue. She decided to prescribe Amantadine.

Thankfully, I’ve had a very favorable response to initiating this treatment. Nevertheless, my subglottic stenosis has concurrently begun to worsen. I’m increasingly short of breath, with very minimal exertion. As a result, my life once again feels like one step forward, one step back.
