Better Than Expected

Today’s psychology lecture went much better than I originally expected it to be. Thankfully, the majority of my students were very actively involved in today’s class; it certainly helps that there are relatively few students enrolled in this class.

My student’s active participation certainly helped attenuate the overall impact of my shortness of breath. Today, we discussed the topics of perception, as well as consciousness.

I very much enjoy supplementing my lecture materials with insights that I’ve derived from my clinical experiences. I definitely try to incorporate the impact of current events into my lectures, so that the material presented is more meaningful and relevant for my students. In sharp contrast, merely reviewing Power Point presentations would be very dry and dull.
