Not surprisingly, I’ve been elated with my positive response from starting to take Amantadine for MS fatigue. It’s recently allowed me to do much more, as a result of feeling less fatigued. The danger, of course, lies in attempting to overdo one’s activities when you finally feel somewhat energetic.
Medication-induced energy is not, after all, entirely “real.” Today, I feel extra tired. I just finished an especially hectic weekend. I need to strike the right balance between balancing rest and activity, even with taking medication for debilitating fatigue.
