Most thankfully, my recently increased MS symptoms have been very short in duration. Although I do continue to have decreased sensation throughout my legs, I’m most pleased to share that I have had no difficulty walking today. Needless to say, this is an enormous relief.
I have another very busy week ahead. It would have been especially difficult to perform all of my responsibilities if I had been in the process of developing a full-blown MS exacerbation. This week, I’ll be evaluating new patients at a nearby nursing home, as well as teaching my Abnormal Psychology class. MS is certainly an amazingly unpredictable disease. Sometimes, it delights with its unpredictable attenuation of symptoms.
