I am indescribably thankful for pleasant distractions, during my ongoing challenges of coping with chronic illness. A few months ago, I decided to rent a vendor booth, at a nearby flea market.
Although I continue to vend my designs at local craft fairs and fundraising events, I very much like the convenience of setting up a more permanent display of my designs. I’m offering my colorful, unique polymer clay jewelry and accessories. I’m also selling my original artwork, including my watercolors, colored pencil portraits, and oil paintings.
I so enjoy the camaraderie of being at the flea market. It’s been nice to make new friends, by interacting with fellow vendors. I enjoy chatting with the wide variety of people who pass through the flea market each weekend. It definitely takes my mind off of my increased symptoms. Yes, I am deeply thankful for pleasant distractions.
