I just phoned my ENT surgeon’s office. It’s amazing that it is this difficult to schedule an actual date for my throat dilatation surgery. Given that my airway is literally closing, you would think that this would be an absolute emergency. I was originally told that my surgery would be on October 9; I subsequently received a phone call that they didn’t have adequate operating room time for my surgeon to perform my surgery on this date. So, I wait to receive a date for my throat surgery. I wait, as I am out of breath before I even finish a sentence. I wait, as I gasp for air after simply getting dressed.
