I’ve spent this entire weekend selling my polymer clay jewelry and accessories, at a local craft festival. It’s been a wonderful distraction from my worsening subglottic stenosis. As long as I’ve been physically inactive, my symptoms have not been problematic. With even minor physical exertion, my shortness of breath is very severe. I know what is ahead of me, and I’m not looking forward to it. Tomorrow, I’ll have an in-office bronchoscopy. Soon, I’ll have yet another throat dilatation surgery. I’ll immediately experience relief from my severe shortness of breath. The bronchoscopy is most uncomfortable; the post-surgical pain is horrific. I would give anything to have this be the very last time that I had to go through all of this.
