I’m now facing increased shortness of breath, with even minimal exertion. Consequently, I need to be very flexible about all of my plans for the foreseeable future.
Things that I previously was planning to do will just have to wait until I’m feeling much better. The motto of the American Lung Association is, “When you can’t breathe, nothing else matters.”
How painfully true that expression happens to be. I just don’t have the stamina right now to do absolutely anything that I don’t really have to do. So, I will fall even further behind on my perpetual to-do list. It’s just unavoidable right now.
I’ve learned that there’s no point getting excessively stressed about what I’m temporarily unable to do. Being extra stressed will only exacerbate how miserable I am already feeling.
So sorry, Bonnie. Prayers going out to you. Keep up the good fight!
